Metal Carports are popping up all over the placeThese carports are relatively inexpensive compared to regular carports. They not only come in many different sizes, but they also come in various shapes.

Some of the more common styles are: Classic Carports, A-frame Style Carports, And Barnstyle Carports.

Classic Style Carports

Classic Style carports usually have rounded corners and usually start with a width of 12'. Some companies will sell carports smaller than 12' wide if you really don't have the room and ask them.

While you can get almost any width, the most common widths are: 12', 18', 20', 22', 24', 30, and 40'. As far as lengths go there are a few different lengths that are offered by a few different companies.

Homland Metal Products and a few other companies offer there carports in lengths of: 20', 24', 28', 32', 36', and 40'. You can also combine carports together to get over 40'. For Example you can get a 20' and 24' put end to end and you'll have a carport that is 43' long.

Some of the other companies offer different links to there carports like: 21', 26', 31', 36', and 41'. These buidlings can alos be stretched to make them longer.

The normal base price for these types of carports are $695 and up for a single car carport and $695 and up for a double carport. An important thing to remember is that an 18' wide carport is wide enough for smaller cars, but you should get a 20' wide if you have larger cars or trucks. OTherwise you won't be able to open your doors.
