1. opera:config - By visiting this code on your Opera Mini's URL tab, you can able to access the Power-User setting menu

The power user setting has number of settings which can be set according to the users wish.

  • Large place holders for images- By default, its set as "yes". You will see a large place holder, if you had disabled the images on the settings.
  • Fix text to screen- This helps to show text correctly for your screen and by default this option is enabled. Note: If you set it as "No" then you have to scroll both vertically and horizontally for reading the texts.
  • Loading timeout- "30" as default and this means that the Opera Mini waits for the server response only for 30 seconds which loading a website. If the website takes more time than 30 sec then you will get the error message. You can solve it by increasing the loading timeout.
  • Use bitmap fonts for complex scripts- Must be enable to support other language alphabets on Opera Mini.
